ABOUT ME
I'm a mum from Auckland, New Zealand. After years of struggling with alcohol (which I didn't realise I was at the time), I finally took the brave step of walking away from it.

It's been a real journey, and one thing I realised was the pushback from society on non-drinkers.
​
Here in New Zealand it's especially bad, and was one of the reasons I hesitated to acknowledge I even had an issue.
​
I now feel more confident in my choice and I want to help normalise sobriety in society. Not just for us, but for our children too.
​
I haven't included a photo of myself, but one of these days I will ... just know I'm a white, cis female who goes by she/her.
